Our Story

Reverie Design creates upholstered pieces that bring warmth, texture, and comfort to the home. Each piece is made to order in the west of Ireland, guided by a belief that the spaces we live in every day should feel considered, welcoming, and personal. 

The idea for Reverie grew from a long-standing love of interiors and a career spent immersed in beautiful places. Years working in luxury travel, spending time in historic castles and manor houses, private residences, and leading hotels shaped an appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and the atmosphere created by carefully chosen details. What stays with you in those spaces is rarely excess; it’s the softness of a room, the balance of materials, and how everything feels to live with. 

That sensibility carried into the renovation of our own early 20th-century farmhouse, where the search for furniture that felt relaxed, tactile, and full of character became the starting point for Reverie Design. What began as making pieces for our own home gradually evolved into a dedicated studio practice. 

Today, Reverie Design is run as a small studio, with every piece shaped, upholstered, and finished close to home. Our collections balance shape and texture, with fabrics chosen for how they feel as much as how they look. A headboard is something you live with every day. The place you rest against, read against, begin and end your day with. We believe those everyday moments deserve care, attention, and materials that soften and settle beautifully over time.
